Ronaldo introducing Nike Mercurial Vapor Superfly II

Ronaldo introducing Nike Mercurial Vapor Superfly II

Again!!!! The war is never ended!!

Nike, the giant company from Oregon, USA, once again released their new product for this World Cup 2010, named it Mercurial Vapor Superfly II. This boot is development from Mercurial Vapor, produced on 1998. The Mercurial Vapor SuperFly II, a lightweight boot featuring a new, unique adaptive traction system designed for explosive acceleration. The Mercurial Vapor SuperFly II features a reengineered upper for enhanced fit and ball control for fast feet. The vibrant ultra-violet color boosts visibility on the pitch.

Nike Labs, at World Cup 2006, had analysed that there were 845 slips during 65 games. Or average 14 slips in a game. This could be a fatal accident that can change the game, especially for a player like Christiano Ronaldo.

Nike Labs found that they need a boot with character to maximize the acceleration and to reduce the possibility of slip accident. They called it “traction on demand”.

Traction on demand In developing NIKE SENSE adaptive traction technology, designers created an adaptive stud that can extend and retract by up to 3mm, based on ground conditions and pressure exerted by the player. Directionally positioned blades maximize cutting and allow for quick changes of direction, while secondary toe traction provides added toe-off power for those first critical steps. The result is a boot that enables greater speed in all directions.

Christiano Ronaldo, who is being an icon of Mercurial Vapor Superfly II, claimed that the new designed boot is very help him. “For me, it’s all about first-step acceleration, but twisting and turning around a defender is also important,” Cristiano Ronaldo said. “The Mercurial Vapor Superfly II helps me do both, so I can beat my opponent and create scoring opportunities.”

A test on a wet grass, Ronaldo had proved all about the advance of Mercurial Vapor Superfly II. Nike plans to sell this newly designed amazing boot on April 1st 2010 all over the world.

BloodLetting Therapy 0

Posted on March 04, 2010 by dole

cupping, bloodletting, hijamaYesterday, for the first time, I had a bloodletting treatment. I believe many of you don’t know what it is. Simply, bloodletting is ancient treatment, which began with the Egyptians of the River Nile one thousand years B.C., and the tradition spread to the Greeks and Romans; its popularity continued throughout the Middle Ages. From our body, the blood will be letting out. Usually, it will be useful to letting out poison, dirty blood, and even to reduce blood pressure.

Bloodletting popularly defined as a method of treatment by way of bad blood from the body through the skin surface. While the blood is dirty is the blood that contains toxic (toxin) or the static that clogs blood circulation, resulting circulatory system can not run smoothly so that it will disrupting the distribution of nutrients and immunity a person, both physically and mentally.

Dirty blood is accumulated and stays under the skin. If dirty blood is not immediately released, the body becomes weaker and more vulnerable to disease. And to cure illness, there is no more effective way than by cleaning out the dirty blood. So that it can be said that the bloodletting or cupping or hijama (arrabic) is a detoxification technique an effective to cure various diseases by eliminating the source of illness and has no side effects.

That the function of bloodletting.

For the first time, I was scared, and could not imagine, how the therapist will cut my skin, with a knife, and it’s not only in one place. Totally there were 16 cut on my back. But, in fact, I was only my thought. The process of bloodletting was so smooth, even I didn’t feel hurt.

After that, I felt better, fresh, and some back pains was clearly removed.

For the health, a human should have this therapy at least twice a year.

Carling Cup: Enjoying Wembley Stadium 3

Posted on February 26, 2010 by dole

wembley1Carling Cup may be less class than any other domestic competitions in England: Premier League and FA Cup. But that does not mean that action will held at Wembley Stadium is “not important”.

This year’s final will bring together between two teams from the Premier League: Manchester United and Aston Villa. MU advanced to the final after conquering his city rival, Manchester City. While Villa advanced after burying Blackburn Rovers.

For The Red Devils, they reach final stage for last two seasons. Last season they successfully lifted the trophy after won over Tottenham Hotspur on penaltiesr. MU goalkeeper, Ben Foster became a hero at that time with dismissed  Jamie O’Hara’s kick – which he did successfully with the help of iPod.

If successful this time conquering Villa, Manchester United will become the first team to win the Carling Cup in two successive seasons after the last time  Nottingham Forest did in 1989 and 1990. But can ‘Red Devil’ do?

The fact this season has shown that the Villans are a tough opponent for them. Twice competed in the Premier League, not even once MU defeated Martin O’Neill’s team.

In the first meeting at Old Trafford in December past, MU defeated by a score of 0-1. At the second meeting in early February, Manutd only has a 1-1 draw.

As for Villa, defeating MU means secure a tittle this season. In addition to Carling Cup, they also have a chance in the FA Cup, where they still hold up half the quarter.

From the perspective of Sir Alex Ferguson, Carling Cup final is still an important action when considering that the game will be held at  Wembley Stadium. The stadium is still regarded as one of the sacred places in English football. Sir Alex wants to enjoy the victory there.

“Wembley has always been one reason. Always so,” said the manager on ESPN Star.

“But we can only enjoy with the victory. We have a chance to win something on Sunday. It’s not a fun day when you lose.”

Sir Alex obviously did not consider Carling Cup as the tournament is “not important”.

With 90,000 seats, the new Wembley Stadium will be the largest soccer arena in the world. The signature 98.3-foot high twin towers of the original Wembley, built for the British Empire Exhibition in 1924, are being replaced with a dramatic 436-foot arch that will support 5,000 tons of the 7,000-ton movable roof. This structural solution eliminates the need for pillars that could obscure visitor’s views. (With a span of 315 meters, the arch will be the longest single span roof structure in the world and will be visible from all parts of London.)

Built to incorporate the latest digital technology, the stadium includes two giant video screens, each roughly the size of 600 TV sets.

Honda New CRV 5

Honda New CRVSeveral months ago PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) as a car manufacturer Honda in Indonesia introduced the CR-V facelift. If you do not know in detail the previous model, you’ll be busy looking for the difference. Because, on the exterior changes are minimal. Although using the new design alloy wheels, honeycomb grille models, fog lights and more narrow, not enough to highlight a difference.

Indeed, Honda did a minor surgery in New CR-V  to add the inner beauty. Because of the shape, appearance is radiated beauty.

Peered into the interior, there is a row of new features. Like the TV monitor with touch screen that replaces the double-DIN head unit in the previous version, can play DVDs. Other functions, can provide satellite navigation display. Unfortunately, its software has not provided as standard.

Improvements made to the driver’s position. If previously ergonomic, the more perfect by the presence of electric seat control 4-way. Then also equipped with Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) that functions to control the car in emergency situations, such as slip or twist. Therefore, retaining Honda engine, transmission and suspension. Indeed, the suspension a bit harsh, but the CR-V is very stable and precise drive.

Gearshift was smooth and smart to follow the condition of the road elevation. Remarkably, engine 2354 cc i-VTEC powered 170dk very powerful in every round. When done acceleration from 0-100 km / h can be achieved 10.2 seconds. Fuel consumption was not too efficient, but still in tolerance limits considering this CR-V SUV big enough.

Rolling Stones Logo: The most famous logo 3

Posted on February 17, 2010 by dole

Rolling Stones, the legend of rock n roll band has formed in 1962, London. And since that, the band always been an iconic of sex, drugs, and rock n roll. More than 40 years, they produced thousands songs, thousands stage perform, and millions audiences. Rolling Stones, can not be separated from Mick Jagger and Keith Richard, the two super bad boys of rock and roll.

Rolling Stones is not only a band, they becoming a commodity of business. Millions dollar merchandise has been sold. And, one thing that people always remember of this commodity is: their logo, The Tongue!

523px-tongue_(rolling_stones).svgOne of rock’s most famous logos, “The Tongue” was created by John Pasche in 1970 and featured on 1971’s Sticky Fingers. Maybe no one ever predicted that The Tongue becoming a very strong brand image, and I believe the logo is more famous than Rolling Stones itself.

The first time when it published, most of people had had comments. They felt it’s disgusting, jerk, etc. But the band keep rolling, and for more than 35 years, the tongue become a symbol for youth spirit.

Famous throughout the world, the logo combines the various elements of the band’s image. It is at once an insolent tongue stuck out at authority and a lustful panting tongue, as well as standing of course for the legendary mouth of Mick Jagger. Pasche recalls that the inspiration came from an image of the Hindu goddess Kali. He was paid the princely sum of £50 for his work at the time, but received the generous supplement of an extra £200 a couple of years later, in acknowledgement of the success of the design.

The group themselves now own the copyright, but in 2006, Pasche sold the original artwork for the logo for £400,000.

Making Love, in healthy way 7

Posted on February 17, 2010 by dole

Sexual energy is a powerful, very natural force in our lives. But like any natural force we encounter — be it wind, sun, rain, or our own laughter — our sexual energy has the potential to be channelled and experienced in either destructive or life-affirming ways.

Healthy sex involves the conscious, positive expression of our sexual energy in ways that enhance self-esteem, physical health, and emotional relationship. It is mutually beneficial and harms no one.

Negative influences and problems

Unfortunately, we live in a society that constantly bombards us with images of sex that have very little to do with healthy sexuality. In movies, on TV, in books, and in magazines we are exposed to countless examples of impulsive, irresponsible sex. People are treated as sex objects and sex is often portrayed as a form of power and control over another person. It’s no wonder that many of us have experienced some tragic consequences of mischannelled sexual energy, such as sexual abuse, compulsive sexual behaviors, sexual exploitation, sexually transmitted diseases, unwanted pregnancy, and/or chronic sexual unhappiness.

Studies in America reveal that:

1 in 3 females and 1 in 6 males are sexually abused in childhood.

1 in 4 women are raped sometime in their lifetime.

1 in 4 Americans will have a sexually transmitted disease some time in their lives.

1 in 2 American women will have at least one abortion by the time they are 45 years of age.

1 in 20 Americans (mostly male) engage in sexually compulsive behavior.

1 in 5 women and 1 in 10 men report that sex gives them no pleasure.

What’s been missing

Most of the sex education available in the world today focuses on reproduction, birth control and disease prevention. While this is important information, it stops short of helping us learn what we need to know to prevent sexual abuse, addiction, and dissatisfaction. In addition, many of us need new information to overcome problems caused by past sexual hurts so that we can go on to experience healthy sexual intimacy with a partner.

As a sex educator and therapist, I meet many people who have trouble conceptualizing Healthy Sex. They want to know: “How does healthy sex differ from sexual abuse?”, “How does healthy sex differ from sexual addiction?”, and “What are the conditions necessary to ensure that the sex I’m having is healthy?”

Healthy Sex requires that these five basic conditions be met:

Consent, Equality, Respect, Trust, and Safety

Let’s look at each of these conditions more closely:

CONSENT means you can freely and comfortably choose whether or not to engage in sexual activity. You are able to stop the activity at any time during the sexual contact.

EQUALITY means your sense of personal power is on an equal level with your partner. Neither of you dominates the other.

RESPECT means you have positive regard for yourself and for your partner. You feel respected by your partner.

TRUST means you trust your partner on both a physical and emotional level. No Iframes You have mutual acceptance of vulnerability and an ability to respond to it with sensitivity.

SAFETY means you feel secure and safe within the sexual setting. You are comfortable with and assertive about where, when and how the sexual activity takes place. You feel safe from the possibility of harm, such as unwanted pregnancy, sexually transmitted infection, and physical injury.

It takes spending time together and engaging in lots of honest, open communication to make sure that the all  conditions are operating in your relationship. That’s why it is important to build a strong friendship with a partner first, before becoming lovers.

Meeting the all conditions does not ensure that you’ll experience terrific sex, but it can help you feel more secure knowing you’ve minimized the possibility of something bad resulting from the sexual experience.

Android vs Blackberry vs iPhone: who will be the winner 2

Posted on February 13, 2010 by dole

The Google Android mobile operating system currently runs on less than 2 percent of the world’s smartphones, but research firm Gartner predicts the platform will grow to 14 percent of the global smartphone market in 2012–beating Apple’s iPhone, Windows Mobile and RIM’s BlackBerry platforms.

google_android_mobile_growth
Computerworld notes that Android will pale only to the Symbian OS, installed mostly on Nokia devices. Nokia is the world’s No. 1 phone manufacturer worldwide, and Symbian runs on about half of all smartphones.

Symbian’s share will fall to 39 percent by 2012, Gartner predicts.

Here are five reasons why Android will beat iPhone, BlackBerry and Windows Mobile on the global stage, according to Gartner’s forecast:

  • Google backs Android, a major pipeline for its cloud services.
  • Android is improving rapidly. The Cupcake 1.5 release was well-received, and Donut 1.6 has already been sent over the air to handset owners.
  • Android is open, making it easier to quickly gain developers’ support.
  • Android will run on phones from several manufacturers, which will help it quickly spread through the marketplace. HTC, Motorola and Samsung are already supporting handsets.
  • Android combines the best of what’s out there. It’s open, but it offers iPhone-like menus and apps, with Windows Mobile-esque icons, with Palm Pre-like multitasking. There’s another arms race afoot–the battle among Android handset makers as to which company can squeeze the most out of the OS.

As reported by Computerworld, Gartner forecasts the following market share in 2012:

  • Symbian: 203 million handsets, 39 percent of the market;
  • Google Android: 76 million handsets, 14.5 percent of the market;
  • Apple iPhone OS: 71.5 million handsets, 13.7 percent of the market;
  • Windows Mobile: 66.8 million handsets, 12.8 percent of the market;
  • RIM BlackBerry OS: 65.25 million handsets, 12.5 percent of the market;
  • Linux variants: 28 million handsets, 5.4 percent of the market;
  • Palm webOS: 11 million handsets, 2.1 percent of the market.

The main takeaway: Android’s the biggest gainer of the bunch, at the expense of RIM’s BlackBerry OS.

(Remember: These are global figures, not the US market, which is dominated by the iPhone and BlackBerry OSes. Still, they indicate the rapid global growth of the smartphone segment.)

Which will you choose?

This summer, the biggest party in the world will be held in South Africa. And, as the player kick “Jabulani”, the celebration is begin. Soul, love, emotion, nationalism, and passion, will be blended in to one word: spirit. 1174-0-0-0_1795014

However, as this year the finals will come with a twist as they will be held in Africa for the first time since the World Cup began and thus all the major sporting merchandise brands are gearing up with plenty of African themed items.

According to jersey sponsors Adidas, South African and German teams spent two years designing the jersey, which includes the South African flag on the front and an African art print on the collar. The jersey is primarily yellow, with green trim, and includes 11 threads to symbolize diversity in unity, as well as modern interpretations of traditional South African artwork.

italia2010jersey240

Italy, as the world champion, has Puma to designed their jersey. The design has special skeleton motif in front. A very unique idea. And on the collar, they made a unique cutting line too. Different with the last World Cup, this jersey is not really body fit style. However, this jersey is simple but elegant.

France well known as world’s mode centre. Their newly design has a significant differentiation from old one. The changes is on three lines at the front: they separates it. Not a solid line as usual. And the blue colour, is even darker, I think. yhst-7223899490465_2094_1084305139

Blackberry lifestyle, Blackberry community. 0

Posted on February 13, 2010 by dole

Yesterday, I went into a medical shop. After pay for my recipe, I have to wait until they call. I sit on a chair, and beside me is an old woman, around 50-55 years, maybe a low level social class. I was not concentrate on her, as TV was more interesting for me. But, I started to rise my eyebrow when she took something from her hand bag: a Blackberry Onyx!!! After few minutes, she asked me something about a feature as she didn’t know how to use it.

Until now, few question still flies like bee in my head.

I didn’t care about her capability to buy that IDR 5 millions gadget, that’s her money. But, I just wondered why she bought Blackberry? Base on her needs, or just a lifestyle, or because all her friends using Blackberry? If she didn’t know how to use it, perhaps she bought it not on her needs.

In Indonesia, Blackberry becomes a something must have for people. Except me. I do not use Blackberry. Really. I am in love with my Sony Ericsson. I can enjoy internet from that.

I just found one principle differentiation on Blackberry: Blackberry messenger. When you buy a Blackberry, you will have an access to a community: Blackberry messenger, Blackberry community. Moreover, there’s nothing special. I don’t want to compare between Sony Ericsson and Blackberry. So, you are not buy a smartphone, but buy a membership card.

The fact is, in Indonesia, people easily to judge book from its cover. And, when you don’t follow the trend, they will say “you’re not in”. People will buy product with emotional thinking, not logical thinking. This issue has been utilized very good by market.

I bought my gadget base on my needs. That’s why I don’t have any plan to use Blackberry.
